Using eSchedule Planner Applications : Creating and Responding to Schedule Trades : Schedule Trades

Schedule Trades
The Schedule Trades view displays trade requests that you have entered or received from other employees, in addition to previous trade transactions in which you participated. From here, you can enter requests, respond to requests, and cancel open requests that you entered. If you are a supervisor or administrator, you can view trades for selected agents, enter trade requests on behalf of agents, and cancel open requests that you entered.
When you use this view the first time in an eSchedule Planner session, the Select Schedule Trades dialog box prompts you to select the trade requests you want to include in the view. After you have closed that dialog box, you can change your selection criteria by clicking the Select Data toolbar button.
The calendar on the left lets you filter the retrieved schedule trades by date. Dates for which there is trade information are displayed in bold type. When you click a date, trades affecting other dates are filtered from the grids (click the Clear selected dates button at the bottom of the calendar to disable the filter).

Use the left- and right-arrow buttons at the top of the calendar to show different time periods. By default, these buttons show the previous or next month. If you click the label at the top of the calendar, you can navigate by year (or by larger periods if you click the label again). You then double-click a period to drill down to the default view of one calendar month.
Both grids let you filter trade information using several columns. To filter by a column, click the funnel button next to the column heading and select only the values you want to be included. The button’s color changes to orange to remind you that the filter is in effect.
For trade requests that failed validation, you can use the options on the pop-up menu to find out more informaton. Select the trade and then right-click it. In addition to having the same commands as the toolbar buttons, this menu includes the following. Each option opens a dialog box to display its information:
